St Margaret's youth services are aimed at people of secondary school age. We meet in the church hall at 7.30 on the first and third Sundays of the month then move into church.
Initially our youth services were inspired by our experiences of the Walsingham Youth Pilgrimage. Children and adults alike felt a need to continue the lively worship combined with the deep prayerfulness we had all experienced with CJM (the worship group) at the Pilgrimage. A group from St Margaret's goes to the Walsingham Youth Pilgrimage each year.
Our youth services are encouraged to be fun, lively, thought provoking, prayerful: and followed by pizza! We have also been on some trips, including an evening at Southwark Cathedral to watch CJM's performance of the Passion, annual weekends to St Mark's, Audley End and took a barbecue over to St Peter's chapel at Bradwell.
