Welcome to the web site of the Parish of St Margaret, Leigh on Sea.
We are an active and friendly Church within the Catholic tradition of the Church of England. With a congregation of people of all ages, we have a special commitment to work with children and young people.
St Margaret's has a full complement of services, with Mass said daily, alongside the offices and other services of the Church. The high point and start of our week is Parish Sung Mass, which occurs each Sunday at 10 am. Major festivals of the Church calendar are always celebrated. There are regular Church Parade services where we are joined by local uniformed childrens' organisations, a Living Stones (Sunday School) and regular youth services.
We are a Parish community as well as a worshipping one, and find expression of our Christian lives together in a variety of ways, from an active Parish life of learning and socialising, to events, activities and works aimed to benefit the wider local community.
